“ REALLY GOOD FOOD !! Everyone enjoyed it I had the Cod, Chips, aswell as a battered sausage and the chips were the BEST i’ve ever had - They were perfectly crisp and had just the right amount of salt , not too much or too little which has been a problem in the past! Same goes for the vinegar. :) Cod was fine, i’m not a huge fan of fish anyways, but the batter wasn’t as crisp as i’d like so that is the only ‘complaint’ i have! But, it was still good!! The battered sausage was very good, the sausage was juicy, NOT dry and the batter was crispy - i’d defintelty recommend. The place was also quite busy yet still received our food relatively quickly. Came in boxes as well, not bags which is also a bonus as our usual is just in paper Highly recommend the battered sausage and chips (with salt and vinegar) <3 ”

“ Ordered large huss, large cod, both with large chips, and two pots of curry sauce, under 30 quid in total. Great fish on both counts. The huss was cooked right on the money, still moist and a fab bit of fish. The cod nice and thick and again nicely cooked. Excellent chips too and a good large size. I thought both were good sizes for the money. The curry sauce was tasty but the current trend for seriously small portions when buying sides continues... we needed 4 pots for two of us in reality. This is a cracking chipper though and you can expect it to be very busy indeed as a result. Top marks chaps, loved it. ”

“ Great local fish & chips. It’s been a long running family favourite for many years, for a good reason it’s great. It’s very consistent, food is always good. We commonly get cod and chips. And the curry sauce is just perfect. It is a touch more expensive compared to others around, but well worth a visit. And wholly recommended. ”
